Before starting your required 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Program, please contact our office to complete the registration process.
To obtain your Special Learner's Permit, you must provide the following:
- ✅Original Birth Certificate or Valid Passport
- ✅Copy of Social Security Card
- ✅$10 Check or Money Order payable to NJ MVC (No Cash Accepted)
- ✅Proof of Knowledge Test Completion (MVC Written Test)
Our staff will review your documents, answer any questions, and guide you through the permit process to ensure everything is completed correctly before your first lesson.

The 16-Year-Old Permit Process
Getting a learner's permit in NJ requires specific steps. We make it easy.
Pass the Written Test
We provide the vision and written knowledge test in our office for 16-year-olds. Alternatively, the student can pass it at their high school or a local MVC agency.
Book the Program
Contact us to schedule the 6 hours. We will need the student's original birth certificate, primary ID, and the blue test card.
Complete the 6 Hours
Our instructor will pick up the student for their scheduled behind-the-wheel training sessions.
Permit Validation
Once the 6 hours are completed, we take the permit to the MVC to have it officially validated.
